David was born and raised in Newark "Brick City " New Jersey, where he still resides along with his family and children. David has a B.A. Degree from Kean College (now a University), in Public Administration / Criminal Justice with a minor in Political Science. He graduated from Central High School in Newark in 1989 with the prestigious title as class valedictorian.
